Delta Symbol: Inserting the Greek Letter into Your Documents

When working with Microsoft Word on a Windows PC, you can easily insert the Delta symbol using the Alt code method. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Position Your Cursor

Place your cursor at the desired insertion point for the Delta symbol in your document.

Step 2: Hold the Alt Key

Press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard.

Step 3: Type the Alt Code

While holding the Alt key, type 916 using the numeric keypad to insert the uppercase Delta (Δ) or 235 to insert the lowercase delta (δ).

**Note:** This method only works if your keyboard has a dedicated numeric keypad.
