Dfb Pokal Finale 2012 Highlights

Triple Threat: Lewandowski's Goals Lead Dortmund to DFB-Pokal Victory

Robert Lewandowski's three goals powered Borussia Dortmund to a stunning 5-2 victory over FC Bayern Munich in the 2012 DFB-Pokal final.

The Polish striker put his team ahead in the 5th minute with a header from a Mario Götze cross. Lewandowski added his second just before the half-time whistle, calmly slotting home a low cross from Kevin Grosskreutz.

Bayern fought back in the second half, with Robben pulling a goal back in the 48th minute. But Lewandowski's hat-trick goal in the 58th minute restored Dortmund's two-goal advantage.

Bayern's Rafinha scored in the 75th minute to make it 4-2, but Marco Reus sealed the win for Dortmund with a goal in the 88th minute.

The victory secured Borussia Dortmund's first major trophy since 2008, and ended Bayern's hopes of a domestic treble. It was also a memorable night for Lewandowski, who became the first player to score three goals in a German Cup final since 1990.
