A wrong-way police chase on Highway 401 in Whitby, Ontario, resulted in a fatal crash on Monday, April 29, 2024. According to the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), the suspect vehicle entered the highway going in the wrong direction near exit 406 Lake Ridge Road/County Road 23.
