Q2 2024 Highlights Strong Performance

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (TCNNF), a leading cannabis company in the United States, has announced its second quarter 2024 financial and operational results, which showcase continued revenue growth and a significant reduction in net loss.

Financial Performance

In Q2 2024, Trulieve reported revenue of $303 million, representing a 2% sequential increase and an 8% year-over-year growth. The company's strong revenue performance was primarily driven by increased retail sales, which accounted for 96% of total revenue. Despite the impressive revenue growth, Trulieve reported a net loss of $11.7 million for Q2 2024. However, this loss was significantly narrower than the $330 million net loss recorded in the same quarter last year, representing a 97% year-over-year reduction.

Operational Growth

Trulieve continued to expand its operational footprint in Q2 2024, opening 11 new stores across Florida, Pennsylvania, and California. The company now operates a total of 183 dispensaries in 11 states.

Commenting on the company's performance, Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers expressed optimism about the future. "We are pleased to report our third consecutive quarter of revenue growth," said Rivers. "Our strong financial performance and expanding operational presence demonstrate our commitment to delivering value to our shareholders and serving the growing cannabis market."
